Auerberg was converted in 2002 from an old barn into a space for working, living and events.
Auerberg today represents an experiment in innovative, energy-saving country-architecture, which
is used for various cultural activities.

The young German artist Georg Thumbach developed this installation for the Auerberg bonfire 2008.
The large plywood walls around the fire created new views with reflecting light and shadows for all spectators.
